Choosing a university
DEQAR — check a university’s quality assurance record
Reports and decisions from registered quality assurance agencies.

DEQAR collects reports and decisions from quality assurance agencies registered in EQAR. It helps you find independent information about an institution and understand its external assessment before you choose where to study.
Who it is for
Prospective applicants and anyone advising them.
Next step
Find the institution, open the report and check its date and its scope: whether it covers the institution as a whole or one specific programme.
Important limitations
Participation by agencies is voluntary, so absence from the database does not by itself mean that a university is illegitimate. Supplement the check with the national register of recognised institutions. DEQAR is not a complete directory of all study programmes.
Status
Active reference tool.
